Tiger

The tiger — with its unmatched combination of grace, strength, agility and unbridled power — stands as a symbol of India’s wealth of wildlife. The Royal Bengal Tiger is found throughout the country and also in neighboring countries, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

In Hinduism, the tiger is a vehicle of the Hindu Goddess Durga. Shiva is often depicted wearing a tiger skin to indicate that he is all powerful.
The tiger is one of four animals associated with the Kagyu lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, it  is also considered a yang energy, and are also a solar animal which associates them with symbolisms of the sun, summer and fire.
